The Pilot (2022)

 

A Russian WWII pilot crashes landings deep in enemy territory in 1941. He is seriously injured and must fight hunger, terrible weather, and dangerous creatures while escaping Nazi forces if he is to get home alive.

On the Road to Berlin (2015)

 

The film is based on the novella Two in the Steppe by the legendary Soviet veteran writer Emmanuil Kazakevich and Konstantin Simonov's war memoirs. 1942. A military tribunal is looking into the activities of arrested junior lieutenant Ogarkov.
