Death Race 2000 (1975)

 

Death Race 2000 is a science fiction action film released in 1975, directed by Paul Bartel and produced by Roger Corman. The film is set in a dystopian future where the most popular form of entertainment is a cross-country road race where drivers score points by running down pedestrians. The movie stars David Carradine and Sylvester Stallone in lead roles. The film has since become a cult classic and has been remade twice, with the most recent version being released in 2008.
