Death Race 2000 (1975)

 

Death Race 2000 is a science fiction action film released in 1975, directed by Paul Bartel and produced by Roger Corman. The film is set in a dystopian future where the most popular form of entertainment is a cross-country road race where drivers score points by running down pedestrians. The movie stars David Carradine and Sylvester Stallone in lead roles. The film has since become a cult classic and has been remade twice, with the most recent version being released in 2008.

The hostages doubt Nemo's objectives and sanity as they explore the ocean's depths and the strange world below the seas, which ultimately leads to a conflict between the captain and his prisoners.

The Golden Voyage of Sindbad (1973)
